It's not that I was not allowed...no one wanted me for a friend.
Yes, if we don't count SEE classmate who usually sat next to me in the classroom and I could talk to, but mostly about school stuff, and we had no contact outside of school. And one classmate before that, who even arrived at my birthday party, 8th or 9th I think, but I don't remember much about him tbh. Or a cousin living nearby, whom I used to visit regularly to play games together and not much more because he's 4 years younger than me. The first person I could call a friend was my high school SLI classmate. Some other friendships developed when I was around 20.
