I agree 100% ! Amandla Stenberg is an insufferable person. I don't even give her the benefit of the doubt due to her young age because she knows exactly what she is doing in her delulu self-entitled narcissistic way. The Acolyte is the most badly written "Disney Star Wars" to date and probably one of the worst tv show ever made regardless. Period ! Leslye Headland is very incompetent in terms of storytelling. Not only she doesn't understand Star Wars but she, in her delusional mind, wanted to pervert archetypes that exist in the collective unconscious since the dawn of civilisation and that everybody understand as it is namely "Good triumphs over Evil" where the good and bad guys are well defined and find resonance in the collective unconscious through familiarity and empathetic dynamics.

Storytelling has always been one of the the main ways by which the Ethic of civilizations and societies develop. However, the story has to be well crafted to have an universal reach that transcends the cultural barriers. But people who want to use storytelling as a vehicle for political messages don't get it, this is not how the force works ! The story should always prevail, and the message (if there is one) should be subtle. Most people want to be entertained, having a good time and forget about the difficulties they are living in the real life for a while, not being lectured or worse, insulted by dissociated morons for God's sake !

This world is going more and more f-ed up because of mass manipulation happening through the entertainment industry. People have enough with all this abomination ! We are heading towards an even wider gap between the ruling classes and the people (therefore less social justice) because of our tolerance for idiotic and nonsensical delusions from people running an idealistic agenda. They have the audacity to think that they can replace an "is" with a pathological 'ought to be" and blame the public for their failure when people in charge (and don't give a poo about their idealism as long as it makes money) cancel their shows... Capitalism 101, the rest is litterature.
