    Default New iSocion test

Thank you all who took the original personality test on iSocion and let me know your thoughts.

So to follow up, my team and I have created a new test and we'd appreciate your feedback again.

The new is test up on iSocion for those of you who have already have an account with us (you created one by taking the original test). You just need to login first and then go to isocion.com/test2l.php

For those of you that don't have an iSocion account yet, create one first by taking the new short test, which will pop up when you click 'join'. Once you've created your account, while you're still logged in, go to isocion.com/test2l.php to take the new test.

Let me know what you think...

    "the inspector."

if you add "http://" behind the links in your post it will make them clickable.

I'm the Romantic according to the test. Hovvever, I've been thinking about one of the uestions: Do you find it more difficult to find balance between 1)your spiritual self and physical self or 2) your emotions and thinking. what does this check? Probably perceiving/judging but I'm not sure. Could anybody help?

First short test gave me The Guardian, the second one changed it to The Artisan. Neither one is right.

I didn't take the test or join.

Cut down on the salesman talk and just give the link. Or at least put your test link at the beginning of your post for impatient people like myself.

I thought the site could use more development. I wasn't convinced me the site was serious about socionics upon my very first impression of it and that you mean business. And I'm not talking about decking your site out. Domain name is a good start but like, there's 13 tabs and only 1 tab...1 generic tab..."types"...in the middle of your tabs of all friggin' places.... indicated having anything to do at all with socionics...also the quote at the top of the main page sounded like some generic stevie wonder we are the world shit.

Third thing is I clicked on the ILE description at isocion.com and thought to myself, "hey cool they've got two different ILE descriptions on here." Then a few paragraphs thru the second description I realized it was the same description as the first one. And you did this with all of them. Aargh! Maybe I'm not some astute business savvy guy but you really didn't need to have the same description twice. So long as its on there one time you can reread the first one a thousand times if you want without any need for a second.

And I also disliked the fact that you didn't put a link for me to click on in your post. Either you didn't figure out how to do it or it just never crossed your mind to say, hey wait a second, maybe I'll take two minutes out of my day to figure out how to put a link there. But seriously, embedding your link with the click option would not have been hard to figure out.

It gave me ILI. Which is closer than last time, but no cigar.

You need some pyrotechnics for when the test is halfway. Or at the very least page numbers.

First I got SEE. That's way off, so I tried again and got IEI (which is either slightly better or way worse, depending on how you approach it). I appreciate the change to the questions, but I absolutely agree with Galen; there needs to be an "It depends" choice, because some of those behaviors are context-dependent.

Edit: this test keeps giving me Irrational types. Not all Rationals are structured, scheduled, and organized. Some of us are lazy, moderately spontaneous gits who can't stand being held to a rigid structure of any kind.

This test is like most linear tests and therefore expounds the errors of linear testing.

You need some of those questions which double check consistency to both trigger review elements AND modify question weighting.

Regarding the beta site, there were a lot of inherent problems with the platform that we chose for it and as a result much of our actual content and features is being held for the actual site release. The software is also quirky, leading to such strange glitches as a page being repeated after itself all of a sudden for no apparent reason. Our intention was to test the water with the pre-packaged system to get a feel for what features were a good fit for our full release.
Not everything goes as planned and a lot of the problems on the beta aren't worth the time to correct since we are coding the real site from scratch and we are a small company at the moment. My apologies in general, but what we will be migrating to is leaps and bounds beyond what we are getting by with now(though that isn't much of a claim what with the way the beta is, but hey...)
And though it appeared that the quoted post above came from myself, it was in fact an imposter. Again, i apologize. I am just now finally getting around to responding to anything on here, not because I don't care but because I am in fact staggeringly busy.

The iSocion personality type designation will soon be part of a multiple step testing process, including a whole test designed specifically with Information Metabolism in mind to achieve a fleshed out result.
Also, there is a number of background elements to the test this thread is about which make it more advanced than it appears right now, but these background elements have not been activated to do their magic yet. Hence the reason we are asking for testers and this feedback(and thank you very much!)
