    Default Phaedrus

Let's discuss Phaedrus' type. Last I heard, Ephemeros was typing him ENFp over at socionics.com. Anyway, that sparked my interest in typing him again. I never saw him with strong Ti or Se. Personally, I think he's Se DS...

    See poll as well.

    Discuss.

He isn't like most INTps that I know and was abnormal in several general respects. In that sense I have always found the confusion around his type entirely warranted. This being said, none of the suggested typings were any less absurd than his self-typing was.

I'm listing Ephemeros typing of Phaedrus as ENFp as evidence that his view of socionics is generally not very reliable.

For someone who claims to be a logical type, he sure did show a lot of emotions in his posts and hardly ever managed to explain himself.

The way he goes on about the facts being indesputable yet not actually being able to provide them suggests an over use of Ti HA. In short: Facts are dynamic in the sense of how Te types think, they don't try to layer things with forumlas and indesputible-ness etc ... His night owl/early bird was an example of some Ti attempt which was wrong, but he clung to it anyway. Why can't he be INFp instead of ENFp?

I don't think there's any way I can type him really tbh, I can see ISTj due to his sheer force of will (which is only one of many reasons), unfortunately his logic was too vague to be a logical type imo, but his emotions always ran high as I recall.

Whatever he is, INTp is definately an unlikely type, it always seemed, well to me, like it was more likely to me he would just somehow "presume" he was a T type and make up his own version of things to fit that.

What are you talking about, lol? I never said that, what i'm saying is that his attempts at logics sound like someone trying to use their T 4/6 function, in particular with Phaedrus, it seems likely to me it's Ti 'HA' that he tries to manifest.

So he explains his emotional outbursts and continual emotional pressure on people to accept what he says as Fe PoLR, when it's nothing of the sort, that's what i'm talking about, this and other things: I think he's making his own version of socionics to fit his 'ILI' type.

So I repeat myself in a way, what does he actually express more, ethics or logics? Personally I see more Fe than T

One more fu**ing little thing which is overlooked by anyone who dares to type him as LSI: he never checks for logical inconsistencies in what others say. Come on guys, this is Socionics primary grade!
    lol

EDIT: I've been invited to elaborate on what makes this humourous to me, and so I will kindly do so. The hypocrisy in this statement is that Pinocchio appears to be calling out Phaedrus on what he himself does. Specifically, Pinocchio really believes that his typings are correct and that they are not simply his version, but the official version. Most of what he says is correct in that he quotes people directly and (usually) doesn't try to attach motives to people's comments, but when it comes to typing and his own logical creativity has to be involved (in this case I mean intuiting context and further constructing logic from there), he fails miserably.

Apparently a primary concept in typing LSI is that they check for the logical inconsistencies in what others say, which seems to be Pinocchio's purpose here: correcting other's, destroying delusions, finding perceived logical inconsistencies. This seems rather problematic since Pinocchio is not an LSI, but does display this quality (and value it) above all others. A logical inconsistency? I think so.

But let me ask you a question, do you think it's just a coincidence that so many people voted before for LSI, now suddenly everybody "knows" he's an ILI? More than that, no one can/wishes to explain why is that so? This is crowd behavior, you feel more confident in the opinion more people share, but you don't know what's it about, imo.

I would be very happy to learn that I am wrong about this, at least in this case.
IMO your right. Since I've seen this happen in other polls too. It's probably more of a question how big is the part of this crowd behaviour.

Hey Pinocchio, I've been reading some of the posts that that Phaedrus fellow put up, now I don't know much about Socionics, but it seems to me that you two have a lot in common.

    BRILLIANT
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Perhaps this is an example of what I've just said. You believe your conclusions are the true one and you think that everyone feels the same way, making them in some way the official truth. However, you don't consider the possibility that maybe you are the one that's wrong. That you are the one who doesn't understand. They aren't afraid to call me out if they think I'm full of shit. And if they are, I invite them to do so. Consider the possibility that you are the one who's acting the mental case and who's distorting reality and the reason no one is offended by my lies is because they know I'm not lying.

Considering they've both been posting at this forum three times longer than you, it's hilarious that you would even question the notion.

just for the record. I haven't really been paying attention to what type she could be.
