Does he get along well with your parents? I would expect him to get along well with your mother but have some issues with your father.

Oh yeah that really sounds like him. Also, in a post somewhere about INTjs, I said I thought my brother was that type but that he felt more like my supervisee rather than my supervisor. This explains that.
