Too hot to be commuting by bus, I can tell you that much!Originally Posted by maizemedley

But, alas! There is no rail line (yet! it's coming next year) between home and uni. The buses might be on time, but they rattle and the only way to keep cool is to destroy the fruit of any efforts I might have put into my hair that morning. Fortunately I never put *that* much effort in and I carry a brush.

It worked! I knew it. Well done, Arcanum. Posting something in the name of Delta always gets a Beta reaction. Like poking a hat above a parapet to attract the bullets. ...missed!
Oh, and Beta... catch!...
*throws *
...if that won't get them talking, I don't know what will...
hahaha, it's funny how just posting in the opposing quadra gets inmediate reaction. Kraus, you shouldn't worry about deltas trying to manipulate you. It's like when you mix two different reactive chemicals, the person who really does the manipulating is the one who mixes them both. In this case, it would be the other quadras.
I looked "jizz" up and found a nice synonym. "Baby batter".
=)
Oh, I totally relate to that! If I don't feel like I look decent when I leave the house, I'm paranoid about it the whole day and I get nothing constructive done. Silly role function is my guess...Originally Posted by maizemedley
When it's very hot, the rattling is just an annoyance. And during peak hour traffic, there's no guarantee of getting the seat above the tyre... *cough*Rattling buses aren't so bad though, Ishy. Especially sitting directly above the tire. ahem, a lot of vibration.... I don't know if...you can relate or would want to relate to that one. BUT, it is a perk! Those rattling buses take on a new feel. LOL
YesAre you a born and raised Australian?
I don't want to relocate, but my boyfriend does... he wants to live in cold, grumpy England for a while ... but if we go to England, we will definately be coming back here when it's time to have children.Do you have any thoughts of ever relocating? OR is it looking like a permanent residence?
I don't want to live in the outback... too many spiders. I am quite content with my coastal city. Most isolated capital city in the world, we are! Besides, I'm not all that interested in the outside world... if I'm comfortable, I'm fine.I idealize the outback a lot. Do you long to live elsewhere too?
Ishy, I just remembered what the poem in your signature reminds me of, a poem by Samuel Menashe (no idea who that is).
His body ahead
Of him on the bed
He faces his feet
Sees himself dead
A corpse complete
With legs and chest
And belly between
Swelling the scene
Of the crime you left,
Taking your time,
Angel of death
That's a great poem...
(am I morbid?)
