I'm a Thinker and overall I find discojoe to be offensive, or at least mildly irritating.
I'm a Feeler and overall I find discojoe to be funny, or in the very least he doesn't bother me.

just to make things clear I made the topic!
<--- breasts...
Irritating is the key word.
"To become is just like falling asleep. You never know exactly when it happens, the transition, the magic, and you think, if you could only recall that exact moment of crossing the line then you would understand everything; you would see it all"
"Angels dancing on the head of a pin dissolve into nothingness at the bedside of a dying child."
damnit, I cant edit but to make things clear
The: is me.
WTF superman?
Since you're not registered you can't vote in the poll, right? Post your vote instead.
It seems I have a new alter-ego. Superman, the chatroom regular and unregistered forum poster, would like to enter a vote. He is an ESTp and he thinks discojoe is funny. Superman, why don't you want to register? And why did you say you made this topic?
Add another vote for a Thinker who finds discojoe funny.
I think discojoe is mostly funny - not always - although I can see how some people might find him offensive.

I helped with the name of the title (I wrote topic, my mistake)
I find discojoe very funny right now but then if his present behavior persists for too much longer he just might become a little irritating.
The forum is a bit too nice and inoffensive sometimes which can get boring for me anyway.
I am a Feeler, and I enjoy his antics.

Megan, you're such an INFj.

The "if you are reading this then you are a ******" sig and the "have fun being gay" avatar made me laugh. This would get moderated on most other forums so it's nice to be non politically correct. It's refreshing. the flame he did to marcus was a classic too.

I didn't find him that annoying in the past, but lately he has been irritating. And I found it interesting that you pulled of the "Marcus the Maniac" thing again, because it seems like discojoe started doing to Gilligan what Marcus did to McNew...
i haven't seen any gilligan/discojoe stuff so I have no idea what you're talking about.
Hmmm, I have never found Disco Joe offensive in the least ... I even had an INTj roommate in college who was into Role Playing stuff and I would always rag on him about it sort of like how DJ does to INTjs.

I've never found him irritating at all, Personally I think he adds some flavor to the fourm.
Normally I wouldn't find him too irritating, but lately I haven't been getting much sleep (and what I do get is mostly on a couch), so my reactions of late are probably not typical of me.
...although I must say, the avatar is a bit...excessive. I have gay friends who wouldn't appreciate it, and while I'm not gonna try to censor you, Joe, I'd not miss it at all.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
Tries too hard.

In touch with semireality.
Yeah, I could agree with that. Although I'll admit, he did manage to get a good reaction out of me.

Neutral: I really dont care.

lol
He's funny. Especially his new avatar
A bit over-the-top in the quarrel with gilligan. But shit happens.

I think the point is that discojoe is incredibly bored, and to tell the truth, so are alot of other long-standing members on this board. And I think the reason is that there's just nothing to talk about anymore, no intellectual stimulation or heavy discussions about functional interaction. This board is a discussion of SOCIONICS, yet nothing we do gets us closer to where we want to be.
Binary or dichotomous systems, although regulated by a principle, are among the most artificial arrangements that have ever been invented. -- William Swainson, A Treatise on the Geography and Classification of Animals (1835)
Where exactly do we want to be? It's not exactly like there is a horde of acurate documentation on temperament theory for us to go through =/ I wish there was tho. It's so infantile atm and it's not exactly like we do this professionally.
Cone, are you projecting?
Cone, you make a point. I'm not so much agreeing or disagreeing with what you're saying about Socionics, but more so the boredom thing. What discojoe posts is for his amusement and the amusement of those who understand the humor. Those who do not help fuel it. The "offensive" things he posts are quite far from his actual beliefs. I've said it before... very little of who discojoe actually is makes it onto this board or into the channel.
I've said the same thing in the past.Originally Posted by Cone

What Cone says is definitely true of me. I'm home from school on vacation, my friends in the area are still in school, and, quite frankly, I've beaten all other topics of discussion into the ground (politics, literature, etc.) to the point that they aren't very interesting to talk about on an hourly basis.
So please, continue humoring me.
