Ethical-sensory Extravert (ESFJ) or Ethical-intuitive Extravert (ENFJ)maybe.

Well, how diffrent is she from you that you are so sure she is not an IEI?
Heh. Completely subjective questions. Twins are carbon copies, but rarely the same type? I dunno, I guess it goes: mirror, look-a-like, dual? So maybe: ENFj, ISFp, ESTp. If you give us some information about your mum, then we'd probably be able to do a decent job of determining her type.Originally Posted by ishysquishy

well, you've directly given us ISxp. So, she'd probably be ISFp. An ISTp wouldn't really be that similar, I don't think, to an INFp. She could be an ISTj. Does she seem more emotionally centered, or is she big on logic? It would make sense that look-a-likes look alike, if you know what I mean ... also possible are ISFj and ESFp. heh.Originally Posted by ishysquishy

I think she's a ISFP.
To me she looks like a calm peace-loving peacemaker
ISFPs are also much more pragmatic than INFPs who just seems aloof in comparison.

But how does that line up? She said her Mom didn't like the analytical thinking. SEIs are more logical and sequential thinkers than IEIs.Originally Posted by Guru
What's biting my noodle is the fact that she says her mom wants the general idea (N) rather than the details (S).
INFj, if not ISFp, if not INFp, otherwise I don't know.
thing.
Sounds very INFp to me. Perhaps with Ishy being one, she can't see it in her mom. Her mom's description sounds just like me.

Well, my mum is very "grounded", she's very pragmatic and likes to work with the things around her (like gardening, making jewellery, polishing crystals and rocks). Is very earth/nature based.
She's very quiet and introspective, she also keeps a journal (is that relevant?). She likes socialising once she gets used to the people. Me!
"She's kind of distractible, our conversations never stay in the same place for long, sometimes they move in the middle of a sentence. Absolutely me.
She comes across as a perceiving type although she seems like she tries to be a judging type. Cone says this about me all the time.
She dislikes it when I am being "too analytical" or "too scientific". Yes, just go with the flow! Stop making mountains out of mole hills.
She's also good at making me doubt my ideas. She gets me defensive easily, I feel like I need to explain myself." She is trying to get you to think things through. I am always in trouble for this one.
Are you sure YOU are the INFp, Ishy?
<--- Me pouring out all my love on you!
Some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints.
Yeah, I agree that she is probably an IEI as well.

The ISFPs i've met have all hated logics and maths, but still have been very down-to earth, caring and observantGuru wrote:

While INFPs seems more idealistic, not as detail-oriented, and much more absent-minded.
Only, my experience, so might be very wrong
